Higher Education Project
As enrollment at Blinn College’s Brenham campus grew, they looked to increase the serving and seating capacity of their existing dining hall and develop a new design for the space.
Arkitex Studio provided options and solutions to the Owner meeting these goals. Reconfiguring the layout and changing meal service delivery allowed for 400 additional meal plans. A new color scheme representing Blinn College’s branding, modern light fixtures and graphics panels updated the spaces’ 1990’s appearance.
Arkitex Studio meet Blinn College’s academic based design schedule which allowed food service equipment to be ordered ahead of construction, in-turn, allowing the project to be completed prior to the start of the next semester.
