Civic Municipal Project
The City of College Station Facility Maintenance Building, a dedicated structure housing the city maintenance department and maintenance equipment, features drive-through bays and a mechanical mezzanine offering additional storage space.
By establishing a close relationship with the City Project Manager and General Contractor, Arkitex Studio circumvented any potential setbacks arising from lengthy material and product lead times which were a result of the design starting during the 2020 Pandemic. Our joint efforts proved fruitful in the creation of this dedicated space which was within the budgeted amount. This allowed the maintenance department to relocate from its former residence in an aging building, which was a shared space with several other City departments.
