Phillip Cedeño

Associate AIA

Phillip Cedeño, Associate AIA, joined The Arkitex Studio in 2013 as a Project Manager, specializing in faith-based, municipal, and higher education projects. In addition to his project management role, Phil serves as the BIM Manager, overseeing the successful implementation and management of BIM processes to ensure high-quality models, coordination, and innovation in digital construction.

Phil earned a Bachelor of Environmental Design in 2009 and a Master of Architecture in 2012 from Texas A&M University, where he also obtained certificates in Health Systems and Design and Historical Preservation. Before transitioning into architecture, Phil spent 12 years managing high-end retail businesses in New Jersey.

Phil is currently pursuing licensure and is an active member of AIA Brazos. He volunteers with Brazos Bark & Build, designing sustainable doghouses; at the Brazos Valley Food Bank and also participates in Architecture in Schools, where he introduces fourth graders to architecture.

Outside of work, Phil enjoys experimenting with dishes from a variety of culinary genres and spending quality time with his family and their pet Havanese, Lady. He is especially passionate about watching his daughter compete in equestrian Eventing Competitions and is excited that she will be joining the Aggie family next year.
