Paul Martinez
AIA
Paul Martinez, AIA, joined The Arkitex Studio in 2009 and is an Associate Principal and Owner specializing in residential design and leading higher education, municipal, and private commercial projects. Before joining Arkitex, Paul attended Prairie View A&M University, earning a Bachelor of Architecture in 2003 and a Master of Architecture in 2004. Paul has previous experience on residential, retail, commercial, higher education, and medical office building projects while working for a firm based out of Fort Worth, Texas.
Paul is involved in the America Institute of Architects (AIA) as a national, state, and local chapter member, serving as AIA Brazos president in 2019. He serves as an Executive Trustee at the Texas Society of Architects and as a Chapter Director at AIA Brazos. Paul is a Registered Architect in Texas, license #23204.
When he isn’t working, Paul enjoys spending quality time with his family and attending sporting events. He volunteers his time with the Architecture in Schools Program, as an instructor, where he introduces architecture to local 4th graders.
