Sustainable design is a guiding principle at Arkitex Studio and we are signatories to the 2030 Commitment challenge set forth by the American Institute of Architects (AIA). Arkitex Studio is committed to creating spaces that are socially, environmentally, and economically responsible. We seek commissions that will challenge us to better ourselves and the built environment by improving the lives of the occupants. 30 Years of Impact

For three decades, Arkitex Studio has pushed boundaries, embraced challenges, and delivered exceptional project experiences. Guided by our commitment to sustainability, inclusivity, and collaboration, we have worked tirelessly to design environments that improve lives and bring people together.

Highlights of Our Legacy

  • Founded in 1995 by Charlie Burris, AIA, and Elton Abbott, AIA.
  • Over 27 years of service to the Texas region under our current leadership.
  • Located in historic downtown Bryan, Texas, in a beautifully repurposed 1927 dry goods store.
  • A woman and minority-owned architectural firm certified by the State of Texas as a historically underutilized business (HUB).
