Commercial Project

The owner developed their existing property on Highway 21, east of Kurten, for use as a convenience store and fuel station, including truck fueling. They proposed a new 7,000 sq. ft. convenience store, based on the owner’s provided sketch.

The building featured a load-bearing concrete block exterior wall with steel joist roof framing. The front of the building used structural steel. There were 2 fueling station areas: one for trucks and one for cars.

All aspects of the fueling stations, including canopies, pumps, and tanks, were by others. Utilities were stubbed out of the building as required for the fuel stations. The project included an on-site septic system and had a propane tank for cooking and heating.
