Chris Hynum, Associate AIA, joined The Arkitex Studio in 2023 after earning a Bachelor of Environmental Design from Texas A&M University in December 2023. He went on to complete his Master of Architecture at the University of Houston in May 2026, where he was recognized with the Graduate Architecture Design Award for his thesis project. Chris is currently pursuing architectural licensure and is an Associate AIA.

Prior to joining Arkitex Studio, Chris gained experience as a contractor, HVAC technician, and architectural intern with Clarke Architects Inc. in Powell, Ohio. His project experience includes the Brazos Valley ESD 4 Fire Station 3, S.O.S. Ministries Administration Building, and the Tarleton State University Restroom Renovation.

Outside the office, Chris enjoys camping, hiking, woodworking, working on cars and motorcycles, and building custom computers.
