Katie Burgo joined The Arkitex Studio in 2024 as Project Staff, where she provides drafting and design support across a variety of projects. Katie graduated from Louisiana State University in 2024 with a 5-year Bachelor of Architecture and a minor in Interior Design. She has contributed to master planning, municipal, and commercial projects, providing design, drafting, and coordination support throughout the design and construction process. Some of her notable projects with Arkitex include Texas Independence Park at Midtown, the Master Plan for Bethel Lutheran Church, and the New Corporate Headquarters for Stylecraft.

Before joining Arkitex, Katie gained experience working at a local garden center, where she developed her passion for plants and strengthened her customer service skills. After relocating to the Bryan-College Station area, she became involved in the community by coaching preschool gymnastics. When she isn’t working, Katie enjoys spending time with her cats, caring for her plants, cross-stitching, watching her favorite shows, and staying active through gymnastics.
